Red Lodge/Beartooth Race Camp

Red Lodge Ski Camp Information

Skiers will be training from 8 am – ~2:30 pm on the Twin Lakes Headwall, 23
miles south of Red Lodge on Beartooth Pass. There are 600 acres of skiing at
an elevation of 10,900 feet with 1,000 vertical feet of lift-served terrain. This is a
high-elevation camp. That means:
Use lots of high SPF sunscreen and wear eye protection.
Bring water each day because there are no regular lodge facilities with
running water and port-a-potty bathrooms.
Wear layers of protective clothing to cover all exposed skin because
summer snow is very abrasive.
Weather is unpredictable. Storms (including thunderstorms) can roll in at
a moment’s notice and shut down the lifts. Make sure you are prepared
with proper foul weather attire and a positive attitude.
